(Pros’ Association' MASTERTON, .Tan. 27. ■•Thd Alinister of Education is keenly interested in the experiment, and is considering what can be done to give it permancy, stated-Mr Strong, Director of Education, after ail official visit to the agricultural traininn and holiday camp, for unemplnyboys at "Penrose this morning. He was accompanied by the Director or Technical Education (Mr-. La-frolic) and the (fhief’ .Inspector of Schools. Tho par tv made u detailed, inspect ion of the site and expressed complete satisfaction at the general outlay. Mr Strahg addressed the boys on the principles of good citizenship Jn the afternoon, a visit was paid by Mr. B Teagle, president, and lour other members of the AVellington .Rotary Club Dr. Reakc-s, Director of Agriculture, Mr. J.J. Goldsmith chairman of the AVellington Unemployment Committee and Mrs. McVicar, of the AVellington, Charitable Awl Board. Dr. Reakes And Mf; Teagle. addressed the 2ada ,expressing appreciation at. the progress’ m their ilgrlcnltuial train in.fr-and at the good response t-o disciplme. The. highest expectations of the camp had been fulfilled. He added that ■ they • were anxious to‘place'at feast 53-of the boys who liad had good experience "At, milking, fencing and handling , stock.
