MEAT SAFE THIEF,
YOUNG MAN PUNISHED
{Press Association! HAMILTON, Jan. 27. Known among residents of Hamilton East a s the “meat safe thief, John Francis Schdroski, 26, pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Cf’ 11 ''; this morning to 18 charges of theft of food, liquor and miscellaneous or ticlos between July and November of la'st year. Thirteen thefts were from meat safes and outhouses in the early hours of the morning. The accused was sentenced to sis months’ hard labor on each of three indictable offences, the sentences to bo cumulative, and 12 months’ on each of 15 minor charges, the terms to be concurrent.
