SMITH’S RIVALS GET BUSY
CAMPBELL AND KAYE DON PLAN ATTACK ON RECORDS.

In the event of Mr. Norman (“Wizard”) Smith breaking the land speed record, Sir Malcolm Campbell will take the Bluebird to Daytona in in attempt to establish new figures. The Bluebird has been fitted with a new radiator and is now believed to be capable of a speec} of 270 miles an hour. Mr. Kaye Don’s Silver Bullet, in which be made an unsuccessful attempt in 1930, is also being altered with a view to challenging the land sneed record after he has comnleted his efforts on Lord Wakefield's new speedboat Miss England 11.
