Threadneedle’s dam, imported Slipstitch, comes from the famous Paraflin family. Threadneedle is a handsome massive black horse, masculine to a degree, standing just over 16 hands. He was awarded first prize and championship at the Gisborno Show last October. Threadneedle pedigree is freely endowed with the blood of Doncaster, St. Simon and Musket, strains that have stood the test of time. Further he is descended from the famous Herod and closely related to Soult who was a great New Zealand stud success. With such a pedigree, fine physique and good performances, he should bo a big success at the stud. His stock are well-grown and showing great promise.
