WELLINGTON, Nov. 20, General Situation
The recent anti-cyclone has completely disappeared and an intense depresisoh now covers New Zealand and the Tasman Sea. The meteorological situation is, therefore, favourable for the development of general rain. Forecast
Winds: Strong northerly to westerly to gales backing to southerly soon in the far south and southerlies becoming general, within the next. 24 to 36 hours.
Seas (N.Z. waters): Bough generally, ancl becoming heavy on the western Coasts.
Eastern Tasman Sea:, Strong north to .west winds, hacking to strong southerlies ; seas rough to heavy. Weather: Stormy, with widespread rain ancl many heavy falls; electrical disturbances likely in places; temperatures shortly becoming cold everywhere; indications are- for several days of unsettled weather.
