At the wool sales the market was firm lor all descriptions, except for the very best lines, the prices for which were slightly irregular. The principal buvers wore Japan and Yorkshire. Greasy merino made up to 19]d. In all 12,035 bale 3 were offered and 11,185 sold, in addition to 376 disposed of privately.
