LAST EVENING’S SPORTS AfEETING MJSS CJIOVEAUX’S GOOD RECORD Fine weather again favored tlic Gisborne Amateur Athletic and Harrier Club for its weekly sports meeting at Ibt Reserve last evening, anil the attendance was well up to the usual standard. Some keen contests were witnessed, though the entries in spTint events are not as large as they were last season. However, as this was only (lie fourth meeting of the present season, they hare ample time to improve. Fields in the cycling and distance running events were again large. The winner of the 120yds. ladies’ handicap, Miss I. Clioveaux, who started from the back mark, has proved herself to be no mean sprinter by notchiinr three first places in three starts.
