'MEETING OF GENERAL COMMITTEE.

A\ T . AJ. Bayly, in' writing thanking the donors was endorsed. - In reply to an inquiry from Poverty Bay. the secretary of the New Zealand A. and P. Association of the North Island advised that associations had the power to sue for the recovery of subscriptions, but few cared to exercise this." Poverty Ray on Tuesday and AVodnosdny, Carterton on AVodnosdny and Thursday'.— After discussion it was doeired to forward a remit- to the. annual conference suggesting that the Tuesday and Wednesday ■of tho week . following tho Hawke’s Bay A. and Pi Show (October 21 and 22) lie reserved for the Poverty Bay show. On the motion of_ Air. L. Field, a committee* comprising Air. Henry Tucker, the president (Air J. Fivers), the-vice president (Air. H. G. Smith) and Air. A. C. Langford, was appointed to look-after-the grounds in between shows.

A comprehensive scheme to deal with traffic at the gates on showdays was submitted bv Mr. L. Field and, after a general discussion, it was resolved to meet at the grounds next week-end to go into the matter.
