BOWLING MATCHES
(Special To The Times). OPOTIKI, Feb. 28. Matches played on Hie Opotiki Bowl, ing Club’s green to-day resulted as under: — Semi final championship, pairs—D. Morris and TV J. Scott. 22 beat T. Gardiner and O’Sullivan 21. An extra head had to he played, six heads being burnt. Feathers competition: Baker and Budd 29 v. Cook and Gordon 11- Challenge rooster Connor, Thompson, Braae and Dawson 19 v. Mansell, Downes, Bridger and Burrett 11. Other competitions were: Arrow, smith, Abdullah, Stuart and Short 22 v. Walker Webb, Hathaway and Main 16; S. Main, .Tessop, Anderson, and Chambers 23 v. Wilson, Chapman Stephenson and Tabb 11.
