NOTES The AA T ainui, with southern and Auckland cargo, arrived from Napier early on Saturday morning and di.s_ charged at the wharf. The vessel completed and sailed in the afternoon for Tolaga Bay, thence Lyttelton and Dunedin.

The Kahilca is scheduled to load at southern ports for Napier and Gisborne, leaving Dunedin to-day for Oaniarn, thence Timaru, Lyttelton and AAiellington. She arrives here about March 10 or 11.

The Poolta, from Grafton, Port Stephens and Newcastle with..coal and timber for Auckland, Gisborne and AYcllington, is now at Auckland. The vessel loads at Auckland tomorrow, taking general cargo for Gisborne; she should arrive here on Thursday morning to discharge and, owing to her small tonnage, will berth at the wharf The Totara, with coal from AVost. port, arrived at Gisborne last evening. The Pakura loads at Wellington today'and tomorrow for Gisborne, Waikokopu and Napier- She is due bore on Thursday.
