G.A.A. AND'H.C. MEETING COATES AVIN S BLACK AND YVIILITB HANDICAP INNES CUP TO A. E. REDMOND At last eveningts athletic meeting, conducted at the Reserve by the G.A.A and H.C., the -chief interest centred around one of the biggest annual events, the* 150yds. “Black and White Cup handicap, which resulted in a victory for D. Coates,' after a hard tussle with G. Hartley and R. Dand}, who .finished second and third respectively.

Innes for the competitor, under 21 years of age, scoring the most points in the I.mile, 2-milo and 3-mile handicaps; . This year the trophy went to A. E. Redmond, winner of last evening’s event, Mr. Junes making the presentation. Entries in the majority of the events were good and there were somo very close races.
