General Situation *
A very intense low pressure wave crossed the Dominion during Saturday night, and another almost equally intense one is advancing over the Tasman Sea.

Winds. —North-westerly to westerly winds, strong to gale force, hacking to south-westerlies shortly' in the south, and later south-westerlies becoming general. Seas. —/New Zealand waters. —Generally rough, to heavy. Tasman Sea. —Strong west to. south-West winds to gale in the; eastern Tasman Sea, with heavy seas. Weather.—-Squally and. changeable, with intermittent rain in most districts and some heavy falls, in western districts, thunder at. places. Temperatures warm, especially in the East Coast, hut becoming cooler generally during Monday.
