The dam, which belongs to Captain Bertram Mills, is a welhbred mare,. ai>d she" had an extra,' miniature" leg attached to the inside of each fore fet-. lock, but these have been recently removed in. the college infirmary. It is an extraordinary instance of .hereditary transmission ' that - her foal should have been born with . extra limbs.
