(Press Association.} WELLINGTON, Jan. 2. Wellington bud less rain last year than in any since 1922. The rainfall for 1930 was 38.28 in., which is Tin. less than the average, and 9.27 in. less than in 1929. Only nine times in the last B 9 years has a smaller total than that of' last rear been recorded.
NAPIER, Jan. 2. Only 20.30 in. of rain fell in Napier during the last year against 23.osin. in 1929, and 41.73 in. in 1928. OAMARU, Jan. 2. The rainfall at Oamaru for 42 years has averaged 2.03 in., yet last year’s was 3.9 in. below the average, being only 18,‘ilin. This is 9.32 in. less than in 1929.
