The annual, irieetihg; field by the To Karaka Sports Club yesterday scored fin unqualified success. Weather con* ditipns were perfect from the spectrt* tor’s point oft view, though, distance runners and cyclists had,, to contend frith a head, wind V down the Bach , straight. The breeze assisted, the' spfin-* ters, and sprint times were good. - In the. 75yds Poverty Bay’ Championship a good race saw IK Coates maintain the title which he won, last year. Miss D.
