PEACE SHIELD TOURNAMENT

The annual Peace Shield tournament, arranged by the Gisborne Bowling Centre, will take place to-mor-r row and on Friday with the finals on the Gisborne green on Saturday. The tournament will he opened by Mr. B. Dudfield (president), on tho Gisborne green, and Mr. J. W; H. Holmes (vice-president) on tlio Pov-erty-Bay green. / Bowls must bo on the bank for inspection at 8.45 a.m. sharp, and play will commence at 9 o’clock sharp each day, the lunch adjournment being from 12.45 to 1.45 p.m. • Play will be as follows: A section, first day. Poverty Bay green and second day, Kahutia green ■ B and C sections; first day. Gisborne green ; second day, Poverty Bay green. .Officials are as follows:—-Stewards: First : day, Messrs. C.
