CHEDDAR VALLEY CO-OP . DAIRY COY.
(Special to ihe Times.) QPOTJ.KI, Dec. 5. A meeting of the shareholders of the Cheddar Valley Co-op Dairy Co. in liquidation, ,was held at the liquidator’s office to receive the report and. statements of accounts. The liquidator, Mr T- IT. Pearson, was recommended to make a return of the share capital immediately, and as far as funds permit, estimated at Is 3d in the £, to endeavour to collect all outstanding accounts and wind up the company at the earliest moment.
MONTHLY STOCK- SALE
Messrs Dalgety and 'Co. report as follows on the monthly stock sale held in the Opotiki saleyards yesterday : The yarding of oftttle was below the average, and no sheep came forward. Bidding was dull for all classes, and prices showed a decline upon the previous sale. Fat cows brought £G to £6 12s 6d, forward condition cows £4 to £5. store cows £1 30s to £2 10s, yearling heifers £2- 10s to £3 sa, spring heifers to £7, potting bulls from £1 10s to £3 10s.
