(U.P A by Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON. Sept. 30. At the wool sales, 12.152 bales were offered, including 3206 of New Zealand. Approximately 13 to 20 per cent, 'was withdrawn. There was a good representative offering of all descriptions, and a steady market at late rates.

Messrs. Murray. Roberts end Co. Ltd. are in receipt of the following cable from their London house under date 30th nlt.: —“Competition less keen. Greasy merino best siipe crossbred shows no change. All other descriptions wool declined live to seven and a half per cent."
