FIRST DOMINION CONFERENCE

Sonic eighty delegates from branches of the Now Zealand "Women’s Institutes met iliis morning for their first conference, Miss Jerome Spencer (Hawke's Bay) presiding. A number of resolutions relating to Institute concerns were dealt with and business continued till 3.30 o’clock, when a reception to Lady Bledisloe was held. The GovernorGeneral will address the conference to-morrow morning. . Mills Spencer in her remarks covered the development of women’s institutes in Now Zealand, where there arc now five federations.
