Following four years of effort by the Australian Office to stop exhibitions of the hulk “Success" in Canada and the United States as an Australian convict ship, when actually the vessel was only a prison ship in Australia for a brief period. Air. Brookes. Australian Commissioner, has received assurances from Governor Roosevelt, of New York State, that an effort will bo made to stop misleading advertisements and exhibitions oil the ground that- they are untruthful and tend to injure Australia's reputation.
