The cow bails and the “leg-rope” are of some silver-looking metal, and everything is scrupulouslv clean. Hie buildings are of brick and tiles. The cows are daily driven through a shallow pond filled with a sort or dip for the purpose of killing any germs there may be in the animals 7 hoofs; then .the cows are hosed down and scrubbed before being; sent to their hails, where the milkers wash, the ndders and then wash their own hands before they start milking.
