Forecast: Winds; Southerly '-south of Greymo'u’th and Akaroa, elsewhere westerly ht first, hut backing gradually to southerlies, generally moderate to strong, but of gale force at times in. exposed positions. • Kens (N.Z. waters): Moderate at first on most of the Fast 'Coast, hiu otherwise becoming rough generally. ■ ■ TasnVah Sea: Strong southerly winds to, gales and rough seas in' the ■eastern Tasman Sea.- ■ Weather: Changeable, squally and showery, more especially jn the western arid, southern districts. Some snow on the’high .country and hail on.parts of the coast. Cold temperatures.
