From 2YA. and" 3YA." book reviews will be broadcast bv Mr. H. C. South land Mr- E. E. Witshire. A. W.E.A. talk will be broadcast from JYA.by Mr, J. C. Anderson M.A. The orchestral programme from 2YA this evening will be mainly of a classical nature, as will also he the vocal numbers, which will be contributed by Miss Nora Gray (soprano), Miss Dorothy Spiller (contralto), Mr. Lewis Campbell (tenor), and Mr- Geo. Neel (baritone). Miss Grade Kerr,, a young elocutiomste, will recite two satirical numbers entitled - “The Married Woman./ (by a married man) and “The Married Man’’ (by a married woman). There, will be a band programme at 3YA, the instrumentalists being the Christchurch Municipal Band. It will include a cornet duet;' the polka “Jupiter and Mars,” to he. played by Bandsmen N. Barshy and E. Berisfih. •. The- supporting vocalists will bo Mrs. Ida Graham (soprano), Miss'Nartcy Bowdem-(contralto), Mr H- .J,- Francis (tenor) v and Mr. J. Francis ‘Jones (baritone). Recitations will be given by Miss Marion Drysdale. There will be a studio presentation by '4YA- of “The-. Bello ' of, Now York” by .the Dunedin (.Amateur Operatic and Dramatic;; Society.
