KAHUTJA CLUB. Owing to tbo members playing in Hie inter-club contest on the G'is. borne Club’s green, there aas only ii poor muster on the Jvaliutia Club’s green ou Saturday afternoon, when a couple', of ordinary games were played. Twenty-four entries were received for the .pairs contest, which starts this evening at 5.45 o’clock. These have been divided into two sections, A and B, and each team will meat each other hi the respective sections. Mr. A. Sawyer lias handicapped the pairs as follow ;—' —A Section.—

Entries for the junior players' contest aii.' now being received, and will close next Saturday. Two valuable trophies have been kindly donated by two members of the committee for this event. This contest will be a handicap one.
