POVERTY BAY ASSOCIATION

A meeting of the executive of tho Poverty Bay Basketball Association was hold on Wednesday evening. Air F. Murphy being .in . tile, chair. The question of sending a . representative team to the Dominion tournament to be held at Christchurch was discussed. It was decided to hold the matter over until the selectors had formed an opinion of the standard of play.

Arrangements were made for the King’s Birthday. . .seven-a-side tournament to beheld at the main school or in the event of inclement weather at th<> Garrison Wall. In connection with the above it was deckled lo have' refreshments on the ground, each player being requested to bring a basket.
