DIALING’S APPEAL DISMISSED

SYDNEY, Nov. 26. Dialing’s appeal to the High Court against/ his sentence of six months’ imprisonment and a fine of £SOO on the ground that the State Courts have no jurisdiction, was dismissed to-day.
Dialing’s counsel contended that the offence, if any, had been against the Federal Act covering secret commissions.
This point being disposed of. Dialing’s next step is to appeal to the Quarter Sessions now pending.
