The small coastal steamer Excelsior, from Lake Maequarrio, with coal, sprang a leak. She managed to limp into Sydney Heads to-day, and was beached and saved from sinking in the nick of time. 1 The Excelsior, when at White Bay, was wrecked last June. The sole survivor, an Italian- named Griengero on that occasion is still aboard the lOxcelsior.
