(Ptobb AeeooJatlon.J WELLINGTON!, Nov. 26. Tho Dominion Meteorologist’s summary and forecast are as' follows : ’ ' ‘ The cyclone in tho Tasman Sea is now approaching Oook Strait. Anfcicyclbnes are situated over Eastern Australia and east of New Zealand.. Moderate' to strong southerly wiiids north...©f Cook Strait, rising to-gale force in places backing to west and south-west within about 24 • fours, elsewhere moderate winds between' 'east and south-east veering to southerly, and freshening. Itough seas* on the 1 west coast, elsewhere smooth to moderate, but rising later south of Castle-point.' Winds becoming south-westerly or southerly generally 1 and strong with rough seas in the eastern Tasman. Warm sultry and unsettled weather from Nelson • and Marlborough northwards, with general rain, heavy in places, with, some thunder, scattered' rain also in other districts. Temperatures becoming cold everywhere after about 24 hours.
