United Preßß Assn, by El. Tel. Copyright lAUstralian Preas Ansn.l (Received Nov. 23, 11 p.m.)
ROME, Nov. 23. Mussolini points out that during the half, year ended June, the natural increase in the urban population in Italy is only 12,000, whereas in eight towns alone the increase by rural influx totalled G 5.621. He declares that within eighteen months he intends to clear out surplus immigrants from the country, who had not found work in the towns, and. prevent any more leaving the country. He acids that Italy is spending' more than she can afford in bricks and mortar in towns. The money would, be better spent in reclaiming waste lands and re-building decayed cottages. *
