All sections of the trade competed strongly, notably France, Germany, Russia and Japan. The market was very linn and unchanged, although finer descriptions of merino showed a hardening, tendency. The hales sold totalled 12,814. Greasy meiunos soldi at 28Id, equalling the highest price this season. 1
