“KIND IS MY MARY.”
LONDON. Oct. 30. “Kind, kind; and gentle is she, Kind is my Mary.” Singing this old song, students of Sheffield University greeted Viscount Lascelles, husband of Princess Mary, when he received the honorary "degree of Doctor of Laws. When Viscount Lascelles said that education was an attempt to instil into the young a sense of the errors into which their seniors had 1 formerly fallen, the students chorused: “Naughty, Naughty.”
