' (To. the Editor.) ’ Sir, —In last Thursday’s issue of your paper, you published my letter wherein 1 challenged Mr. W. Lissant Clayton to deny that, as a Borough Councillor, he did not second the motion to have the Gentle Annie, tramway constructed P T further challenged him to deny that, in consequence of that motion, the; Gentle Annie tramway was constructed. I want a straightout answer, “Yes or No,” no twisting. Mr. Clayton has, so far, ’ not Replied t<r rhy challenge, vet he still consists in inferring that Mr. W. D. Lysnar. caused th« loss.— l am,.
