NOTES.

The. AVaimea arrived from Auckland yesterday and, after completing discharge, sailed early this morning for Napier. The Kahika, loading at southern ports for Napier and Gisborne, loft Oamaru on Wednesday for JHinani thence Lyttelton and Wellington. The vessel is due at Gisborne about November 14. The Kaituna, with timber from Newcastle, now discharging in the roadstead, is expected to complete and sail to-morrow for Napier. The Kaiapoi, with coa. for Gisborne, Napier and AVellington, left Westport on AVednesday ' for Gisborne, via Greymoiith. The vessel is due. here on Monday to discharge. Tlie King Edgar completed discharge of her cargo of asphalt here on AVednesday and sailed for Napier. The Rimutaka arrived at Tokomaru Bay yesterday morning to load wooand general cargo for London. On completion at that, port- to-moriow the vessel proceeds to Gisborne to load further cargo. The Turakina, for London, has been fixed to load wool and genera! cargo at Tokomaru Bay about November 23. . , . , The Awahou arrived last night from Auckland, via coast bays. The vessel sails on the return trip north to-day. The Putiki is due here to-morrow from Wellington, via AYaikokopir. On completion of discharge here, the vessel sails for Napier. The Pukeko is en route to Gisborne and ■■. coast bays, via Waikokopu. The Mako is expected here to-mor-row from Napier, and sai.s the same evening for Wellington. The Tiroa arrived yesterday moi ing from Auckland, via Hick’s Bay. ami sails this morning on the return trip north. • The Gunbar arrives here to-day from Auckland, via coast bays, and sails to-morrow for Napier.
