ROWING CLUB RE-FORMED
5 (Special to 'the Times.) OPOTIKI, Nov. 8. ; At a largely attended meeting of rowing enthusiasts last night it was decide to re-form the Opotiki Bowing Club, which was dormant last The election of officers resulted, :—President, Mr W. Burrett: vice-president, Mr N. V. Hodgson; captain, Mr W. N. Brown; lion, secretary, Mr R, -J. Tabb-; treasurer, Mr A. Short. - The above'with the addition of Messrs A. Breed and S. Main will comprise the committee! It was decided to hold a working bee at the week-end to fix up the skids and boats. Eight crews were allotted. It is hoped to have a regatta later in the season.
