P.B. BOWLING /CLUB. There' was a record attendance at the green on Saturday afternoon, five l'ul{ rinks bo : ng engaged. including a team from Te Karaka, which made many complimentary remarks on the new green. During the tea adjournment, MrW. A. Max-Gibbon; President of tJie P.B. Club, in a few remarks, said that, as. all the clubs were'to He officially opened next week, tins was the last occasion they would aJi meet for some time .and lie wished to thank members of the Gisborne Bowling Club lor their attendance aiid support dur.n'g the winter months. His dub fully appreciated the assistance they had rendered, and he’ hoped it would not be long before they had the ' pleasure of meeting again. A hearty welcome wars also accorded the team from Te Karaka. the president , remarking that be hoped tile interchange of visits between the Clubs would continue and still further the feeling of good comradeship amongst tlie players. The weather was delightfully fine on Saturday, and consequently there was a large muster of members and visiting bowlers • on the Kahutia Bowling Club’s green.
