OBITUARY.
ALDERMAN JOHN TUNBRIDGE. United Press Aasn. by Eh Tel. Copyright (Australian Frees Association.) LONDON, Oct. 7. The death has occurred of Aiderman John Tunbridge, formerly Chier Commissioner of Police in New Zealand. He achieved fame for arresting Neil Cream. Conmussioner Tunbridge came out from England some 30 years ago under engagement to the New Zealand Government to reorganise the police forces. He had been a member of the Scotland Yard staff and was a- very able man. He was responsible for the police arrangements during the visit of the present King and Queen to 1 the Dominion. After several years service here he returned to England, and later entered, into mumapaJ politics.
