The Dominion Meteorologist’s forecast is as follows: , A weak anti-cyclone is located north of New Zealand, while there is a series of very intense low pressure waves of the westerly type., covering most of the Dominion, the Tasman Sea. and southern Australia. ./ ... „ Strong north to west windi§ to gales over New Zealand ■ and the Tasman Sea, with generally rough seas and becoming heavy on the west coast of the South Inland. Weather unsettled and squally with rain in most districts, but mainly (scattered on the Bast Coast. Heavy falls in Westland and Otago., and the ranges of the South Island, with some flooding and with thunder and hail probable at nlaces. An improvement of short duration is. likely soon.
