•JPreßa Association.' WELLINGTON, Oct. 7. —Last Evening’s Forecast.— . The westerly type of weather still prevails. One low pressure wave crossed the Dominion early this morning, but another very deep depression is located in the western Tasman Sea.. The Sydney 'barometer at 3 p.m. was 20.13. —Forecast.—Strong north to north-west winds, reaching gale force at places in and south of Cook Strait; seas rough south of Cape Egmont. and rather rough swell south off Castlepoint; elsewhere, moderate strong northwest to westerly winds to gales in the eastern" Tasman with rough to high seas. The weather will 'be unsettled, with ram on the west coast of the South Island,, and elsewhere temporarily fair, but again becoming unsettled shortly, with some raim in most districts. Thunder is probable in places with warm temperatures.
