FATAL STREET MISHAPS. fPress Association.) WELLINGTON. Oet. 6. Two deaths from injuries- received in accidents occurred in Wellington Hospital early this morning!. Samuel Sloan Oliver, a resident ox Hastings, aged about 45. died 1 at the hospital on his admission there at 2 a.m. Oliver was knocked down by a motor-car in Thorndon Quay at 1.50 a.m., and received a fracture of the, skull and of the left leg. Fatal injuries were received by Eric Toulson, aged 36, a civil servant, wlm boarded at Petone. He was riding a motor cycle and; sidecar towards Petone about 6.30 p.m. yesterday and failed to turn a corner properly at the Victoria street and Hutt road intersection, with the result that lie crashed into a fence. Toulson fractured his right wrist and pelvis and also l received wounds on the forehead, and ishock. Hei was admitted to the hospital, but died there at 2.15 aim. to-day.
