<Pres3 AasooiationO WELLINGTON. April 20. Tlie Dominion Meteorologist’s evening forecast is as follows : An anti-cyclone still located between Australia and northern New Zealand with a deep depression east of the South Island. Moderate to strong west to south winds, reaching gale forge at times in and south of Cook Strait. Rough to very rough seas south of New Plymouth and East Cape, moderate, northward. South-ivesterly winds in the eastern half of the Tasman Sea, moderate in the northern portion and strong in tho southern, with moderate to rough sens. Weather cold, squally and changeable, with showers in Westland and Otago and at scattered places elsewhere, hut mainly m districts with a westerly aspect.
