INFALLIBLE FINGERPRINT SYSTEM NOT ONE INSTANCE OF SIMILARITY United Press Assn, by EL Tel. Copyright (Australian Press Association.) LONDON, April 17. A London coroner, referring to fingerprint evidence, asked £ Scotland Yard expert whether it was a fact that there was not one instance in a million of similarity in finger prints. The expert replied: ‘“Not even that. The number outstrips the world’s population by thousands of millions. Scotland Yard accepts it as a fact that there are no two persons in the whole world whose- fingerprints agree in any particular whatsoever.”
