April 18. “The emotional character of pre-sent-day films, plays, and novels is responsible for an enormously increased death rata from heart disease”, is the significant declaration by Dr. Strickland, of the Goodall Institute of Hygiene. He added that whereas a few years ago the age of sudden death was Fatween 50 and 60 it was becoming alarmingly younger. The duath roll from heart disease had increased by 400 per latterly.
