The Wellington cricket team to play the Australians Avill be as 10lloavs : Brice (captain), Dempster, Foley, LoAvry, Badcock, Lamason, James, -AJcGirr, McLeod, Lambert, and Massey. Prior to commencing the business of the evening the association passed a motion of condolence Avith tho relatives of the late Mrs Wm. Oates, of Tokomaru Bay, and it Avas decided to fonvard a letter of sympathy to Mr Oates, senr. A letter was received from the ToAvn Clerk asking the Association to co-operate in raising funds for the AvidoAVS of Lieut. Moncrief and Capt. Hood, the lost Ncav Zealand aviators. The Association decided to open a subscription list Avith Mr Fox. lii connection Avith the match betAveen Poverty Bay and the Australians at Gisborne, the question of raising guarantees avus deferred until next meeting. It avus decided to ask the selectors to submit the names of 22 possibles by next Monday night. The Association decided to endeavor to arrange a civic reception to the visitors ii possible.
