MONTHLY MEETING . The East Coast Rabbit mob on Saturday, the chairman Mr. E. M. Hutchinson presiding. There were also present Messrs. M. T. Trafforu, E. M. Monckton and M: L. Holden. Inspector T. Dawson reported that during the month lie had been. over a considerable portion of the AYairoa district, and found it in fair order. The number of rabbits killed tor the mouth was Future 1, Mungataniwha 2 Runpapa 1, AYairenga. 1, Fihanga o! Total 10. Inspector H. Burgess reported that he had inspected a considerable portion of the Te Teko district, and, with the exception of traces seen and two rabbits caught on the Mangawora creel:, no fresh, traces ot rabbits outside Galatea could be found. Tame rabbits were reported to. bo kept on AA’oodlands, near Opotiki, and AY9’ 0 destroyed. The number ot' labbits killed'during the past month was: AYidkohu 2,'Te Houhi and Kopurin 4. Galatea Station and Tawliuau o, Mat era 2. Total 13. The reports were adopted. A formal resolution was passed confirming the rate as struck. Accounts amounting to £475 Jos Md were passed lor payment.
