SUICIDE IN A SWAMP. (Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Feb. 12. An inquest concerning the death of James Vincent Fordo, single, 32, who was found in a swamp on Friday night at ltakahouka with liis throat cut, was held on Saturday. The Coroner returned a verdict that deceased committed . suicide by cutting liis throat while in a state of temporary insanity. DROWNED TRYING TO RESCUE BROTHER. (Press Association.) WANGANUI, Feb. 12. Thomas Walker*Zinsli, 26, married, with one child, • was drowned in the Wanganui river this afternoon. He went in to assist a younger brothel in difficulties and sank. The body was recovered three-quarters of ail hour later. The brother was pulled out by a bystander. Who pavs the bill for the injured worker ?
