GHOST THUMB PRINTS
SPIRITUALISTS CLAIM TO HAVE RECORDS BLOW TO SCOFFERS
LONDON, Dee. 16. To silence the scoffers, spiritualists, in an attempt to prove the authenticity of the ghosts they are “in touch with”, are taking their thumb prints. During the past few- months 60 prints have been made in 20 sittings The method is similar' to that employed by police in taking the finger prints qf criminals: • • An American medium named “Margery” has been the most' successful in securing prints. She claims she'is in touch with her , brother Walter, who died in 1912 as the result of a railway accident. The shade of -Walter, she declares, brings along his, friends in the spirit world to have their tliuml) prints taken. Spiritualists assert that' whatever doubt unbelievers may cast upon spirit photographs, none can gainsay the authenticity of such material evidence. '
