PEACE SHIELD TOURNEY RAIN CURTAILS- PLAY.

Play was continued yesterday in the Peace Shield tournament., which is being contested in three sections on the Poverty Bay, Kalmtia, and Gisborne 'Club greens. Three rounds were played off- on Monday, and the fourth yesterday morning, but the fifth was unfinished* when rain came down heavily, necessitating a postponement until 9 a-.m. to-day, when the tournament will be continued it the weather permits. Section A is being played at Poverty Bay, section B at Kalmtia, and section C at Gisborne. Yesterday's results were:— FOURTH ROUND.
