Kosca imo BeHeve.au. which arrived at Portland Maine, reported that they heard the whin of an airplane motor followed bv a splash in the water off Nausett beach Massachusetts at, eight on the night of December 2-J. This is believed to have been Airs. Grayson’s missing plane. The schooner was unable to render any assistance because of the heavy seas running, and having no -radio aboard the crew could not inform two steamers a few miles ahead.—A. and N.Z.C.A.
