Nominations for all events close with the Secretary at Ruatoria, on WEDNESDAY, 9th February, IS2S, at 8 p.m., and must contain full particulars of age. pedigree, sex and color, name of trainer (if _ any), colors and amount of nomination money. Alt'winners after the declaration of weights may he re-handicapped. All' nominations, by telegram must be confirmed in writing forthwith, under penalty of a fine of £2, as per Rule V., part XV., Rules of Racing. Weights declared on Thursday, 15th February, 1928 (night of Telega Bay,Races). Acceptances close with the Secretary at liuatoria, on Saturday, 18th February, 1925, at 8 p.m. PART XV., Rule 18:—“By the entering of a horse every person having or subsequently acquiring an interest in such horse shall be deemed thereby to undertake neither directly nor indirectly to make any wager with a bookmaker in connection with such horse or any other horse in the race in which such horse is so entered. Each entry shall contain or if it do not contain shall he conclusively assumed to contain such an undertaking breach whereof shall be deemed a corrupt practice of the turf within the meaning of Part XXXII. of these Rules.” W.
