INVERCARGILL, Dec 30. The discovery is reported or nine moa. skeletons at Lime- Hills, near Winton. , A party of three descended into a cave, find came across 'the bones some 30 feet below the surface. They also discovered tlie , bones .61 small birds which are considered' to be those of! we leas'. The find is a valuable oue for museurh purposes, and is unmistakeable evidence of the previous existence of the moa in large -numbers in Southland.— P.A. *.-
